Ufa - one of the most musical cities in Russia

UFA, 22 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Ufa is one of the most musical cities in Russia. The capital of Bashkortostan took the third place in the ranking of the 15 megacities, compiled by 2GIS information service. According to the study, in Ufa three musical institutions are accounted per 100 thousand inhabitants, total there are 32 of them. Most part (47 percent) is constituted by music schools, 28 percent - by vocal courses and 25 percent – by music courses. Ufa shared the third place with Samara.

Kazan leads in the ranking. 66 institutions that teach music are located in the capital of Tatarstan. The second place goes to Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and Krasnoyarsk - where for every 100 thousand citizens there are four specialized musical institutions.

The fourth place is occupied by at once seven Russian millionaire cities - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Rostov-on-Don and Perm. They have per two educational institutions of corresponding profile.

Volgograd and Voronezh are in the fifth place with one institution where music is studied per every 100 thousand citizens.
