Open air concerts in Ufa will be resumed after restoration of the Academy of Arts building

UFA, 20 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The restoration of the two buildings of the Ufa State Academy of Arts named after Zagir Ismagilov will be finally completed by mid-June. The repairs of the main historic building (former Noble Assembly) at the intersection of Lenin - Pushkin and Soviet Streets was begun on December 8, 2014.

Over the past five months the roof and all the 300 windows were replaced. Complete restoration of the façade is conducted in the building.

The outdoor area for concerts and creative open air projects presented to Ufa residents on September 1 last year, will resume its work after the repairs.

Also in June, renovation of the second building of the Academy of Art in 9 Tsurupy Street, will be completed, where the theatre and art department is located. 60 million rubles from the federal budget were allocated on the restoration of both buildings.
