Director from Bashkortostan Rim Sharafutdinov is recognized as the best animator of the country

UFA, 13 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Director of "Bashkortostan" studio Rim Sharafutdinov was recognized as one of the winners of the First National Animation Prize "Icarus". He received the award for the film "Break a Leg" in the category "Animator", the press secretary of the Union of Cinematographers of Bashkortostan Zuhra Burakaeva informs.

The awarding ceremony was held at the Moscow House of Cinema. Total it was established 13 nominations: best sound, actor, composer, artist, animator, screenwriter, director, producer, film, film distribution, series, character and honourable award "Master" for the contribution to the profession.

The award is an initiative of Open Russian Festival of Animated Film in Suzdal, which for 20 years remains the main relevant forum in Russia.

The award winners by secret ballot were defined by the advisory council consisted of industry professionals. The figurine of the prize embodies the hero of the famous film by Fyodor Khitruk "Icarus and Wisemen".
