Ufa pianists showed excellent results at the International Competition-Festival "Musical Seasons in Berlin"

UFA, 2 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The International Competition-Festival "Musical Seasons in Berlin" finished in Germany.

The Music Forum, led by the Czech Concert Agency ART Duo with support of Rossotrudnichestvo centres in Prague and Berlin, was dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

The competition-festival was attended by pianists from Russia, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, the Baltic states, in the age categories from "the youngest" (under seven years) to "teachers with no age limit".

Representatives of Bashkortostan have achieved brilliant results. The jury awarded the Grand Prix of the festival to Professor, Department of Special Piano Ufa State Academy of Arts (USAA) Michael Kochurov. The first prize in her age category was won by USAA teacher Shaura Sagitova. In the nomination "Chamber Ensemble" the duet of Yazgul Yanbekova and Saida Timina won the first place (class by Elmira Simonova), the second place was awarded to the chamber duet of Vera Romashova and Natalia Kochurova.
