The National Museum of Bashkortostan opened the exhibition "F.I. Chaliapin. From Stolnik to Don Quixote"

UFA, 1 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. At the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan a grand opening of the exhibition "F.I. Chaliapin. From Stolnik to Don Quixote" took place yesterday.
The exposition is presented by the M.I. Glinka’s All-Russian Museum Association of Musical Culture. It includes more than 150 exhibits. These are scene designs and costume designs for plays, theatrical costumes of Feodor Chaliapin, photos of the singer, posters and programs of performances, lifetime claviers of operas by Russian and foreign composers, memorabilia.
As part of the ceremony a representative office of M.I. Glinka’s All-Russian Museum Association of Musical Culture was opened in Ufa. Famous singers Marat Sharipov and Oleg Kilmuhametov who sang songs and arias from the repertoire of Feodor Chaliapin, and violinist, laureate of international and national competitions Anastasia Mamyasheva took part in the concert program.
The exhibition will run at the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, 14, Sovetskaya Street, until June 21.
