Solemn opening of Days of Culture and Science of Bashkortostan in Kyrgyzstan took place in Bishkek

On March 4, a solemn opening of the Days of Culture and Science of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the Kyrgyz Republic took place in Bishkek. It was attended by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Djoomart Otorbaev and the co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian Joint Commission for Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation Andrey Belyaninov.

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Djoomart Otorbaev thanked the delegation of Bashkortostan for initiating such a big event.

The opening ceremony of the Days of Culture and Science of Bashkortostan in Kyrgyzstan was finished with a concert of art masters of the republic.

Recall that the Days of Culture and Science of Bashkortostan in Kyrgyzstan will last until March 6. During this period, a number of exhibitions and performances of creative groups is planned, as well as scientific and educational activities that will introduce modern culture and science of our region.

The day before the opening the Days of Bashkir cinema were held. Currently exhibitions of modern graphics, arts and crafts, as well as the exhibition "Material Culture of the Bashkir People" and "Bashkortostan - the Pearl of Eurasia" are taking place. In addition, the cultural program includes performances of the National Youth Theatre RB, concerts of the Gaskarov’s State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble and graduates of Ufa State Academy of Arts.

The meeting of representatives of scientific community of Bashkortostan with scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan was held. On March 5, a meeting of Rectors of Bashkiria and Kyrgyzstan, as well as a presentation of republican universities to graduating pupils will be conducted. On the same day, it is scheduled a meeting with the Bashkir public.
