Ufa will host a festival of cultures "Heritage" under the auspices of UNESCO

UFA, 3 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. On March 4, Ufa will host a republican festival of cultures "Heritage" named after Gaziz Almuhametov. The event is held under the auspices of the Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for UNESCO Affairs and the Ministry of Education RB at the UNESCO Associated School - Republican G.Almuhametov’s boarding school. The festival is organized in the framework of events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the United Nations and UNESCO, the Year of Literature in Bashkortostan.

Pupils of UNESCO Associated Schools and Clubs of UNESCO Friends of Bashkortostan, as well as professional and amateur groups and soloists are invited to participate in the festival.

The format of the event provides preparation by participants of competitive performances in the following categories: vocal (ensemble, solo), the literary word, instrumental music (ensemble, solo). A mandatory requirement for participation in the festival is a live vocal and instrumental performance. The winners and participants of the republican festival of cultures will receive certificates, diplomas of the Committee RB for UNESCO Affairs and the Ministry of Education RB.
