Exclusive Gzhel and Khokhloma works will be demonstrated in Ufa

UFA, 25 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. Exclusive pieces of art will be presented at the exhibition festival "Ufa-Ladya. Art. Crafts. Souvenirs" by enterprises "Gzhel","Pskov Potter", "Severnaya Chern", "Aksinya","Khokhloma". The event will be held in the "VDNKh-Expo" complex from February 26 to 28. 33 urban districts and municipalities of Bashkortostan will present their folk arts and crafts and amateur folk groups there.

Visitors will be able to participate in master classes on lace-making, patchwork, folk dolls manufacturing, clay modeling and pottery making, felting, woodcarving, painting on wood and fabric, kubyz playing. The festival will feature a roundtable discussion "Development of Crafts in Bashkortostan".

A separate program is prepared for children. They will learn about different kinds of folk arts and crafts, visit performances of creative groups. The "Markhamat" Charity Education Foundation will hold a career-oriented event for orphans, the press service of "VDNKh -Expo" informs.
