Bashkir journalists were awarded TURKSOY International Prize

UFA, 25 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency/. In the Turkish capital Ankara an awarding ceremony of journalists of the Turkic world covering the themes of culture took place. Representatives of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Macedonia and republics of Russia - Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Dagestan and Khakassia received the TURKSOY Prize. A culture columnist of Bashinform News Agency Leila Aralbaeva (Ishmuratova) and producer and presenter of TV and Radio Company "Bashkortostan" Gulnaz Yakupova were awarded the TURKSOY International Prize in the field of print media on the part of Bashkortostan.

The award was presented by the Secretary General of TURKSOY Dusen Kaseinov.

The ceremony took place at the Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Ankara within the opening of the Year of the 100th anniversary of famous Turkish writer and playwright Haldun Taner. The gala evening was attended by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey Ömer Çelik.

Meetings with the heads of state and public organizations of the Republic of Turkey - General Directorate of Press and Information, Department of Crisis Management and Emergencies "Afed", Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were organized for the journalists representing Turkic world. A tour over one of the largest Turkish Radio and Television Corporation - "TRT Avaz" was conducted, a cultural program was organized.
