The famous Northern Russian Folk Choir will give a concert in Ufa

UFA, 10 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. On February 21, the oldest in Russia State Academic Northern Russian Folk Choir will perform in Ufa. The concert will be held in the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan".

Professional team that combines choir, orchestra and dance group will present a unique flavour of Russian folklore in Russia and abroad. In Ufa the North Choir will bring the program "Come to the North!", which includes performances of the gold fund. The concert will be held in Ufa in the framework of a big tour in the Ural region (Ufa - Chelyabinsk - Yekaterinburg - Orenburg - Buzuluk).

The Northern Russian Folk Choir was created by a teacher from Great Ustyug Antonina Kolotilova in 1926. This is the only in the North-West of Russia highly artistic collective, whose long-term educational activity promotes familiarizing viewers and listeners with the traditional Russian culture. During its nearly 90-year-old creative life the choir was awarded the highest international and Russian titles and awards.
