Writers of Bashkiria will take part in a meeting of the Union of Moscow Writers

UFA, 10 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Kamil Khasanov/. From December 12 to 14, the Russian capital will host an annual meeting of young writers organized by the Union of Writers of Moscow. The seminars will be held at the venues of "Oktyabr" magazine and the metropolitan library No.61, and will be attended by 58 writers under the age of forty years, selected in the nominations "Prose", "Poetry", "Criticism", "Drama" and "Screenwriting". Among them there is Igor Saveliev from Ufa and Salavat native Andrey Timofeev invited as literary critics.
Both authors are better known as novelists. Igor Saveliev was a winner of the Republican state youth award named after Shaikhzada Babich for the novel "Tereshkova flies to Mars," but his reviews and critical articles are regularly published in Ufa and Moscow magazines. Andrey Timofeev graduated from Gorky Literary Institute; his stories were published in magazines "Novy Mir" and "Nash Sovremennik" and were marked by the Russian awards.
Meeting of young writers are held by the Union of Moscow Writers since 1999. In different years Rimma Kazakova, Mikhail Roshchin, Anatoly Pristavkin and other famous writers were participated in them as workshop leaders.
