Union of Composers of Bashkortostan opened its website

UFA, 10 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Union of Composers of Bashkortostan Republic created its first website. It provides detailed information on the activities of the organization, its history and structure. News, announcements and reviews of activities, interesting music events featured in the media, documentaries and photo galleries are published there.

The Union of Composers of Bashkortostan was established in 1940. This regional public organization brings together composers and musicologists of the republic. Activities of the Composers' Union aim to preserve and promote cultural heritage of Bashkortostan, to contribute to development of creativity and growth of professional skills.

Musical compositions are listened and discussed, contests, festivals, recitals and concerts are held, musical, reference and research literature is published by this organization. The structure of the Composers' Union of Bashkortostan currently includes 46 people - 31 composers and 15 musicologists.
