Bashkir Culture Days were held in Uzbekistan

UFA, 24 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In the capital of Uzbekistan Tashkent Days of Bashkir Culture were held. The republican art was presented by artists of the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society - singers, folk artists RB, Rima Amangildina and Vakhit Hyzyrov, kurai player, honoured artist RB Azat Bikchurin, dancer Ilyas Karabulatov. The journalist of the newspaper "Bashkortostan", poet Larissa Abdullina attended the event as a representative of Bashkir literature.

The concert as part of the Festival of Bashkir culture was held in the Great Hall of the Tashkent State Theatre of Musical Comedy (operetta). The event was accompanied by an exhibition of arts and crafts of Bashkortostan and national dishes.

Bashkir pop stars also held classes on kuray playing and dance choreography for the folk groups "Ural" and "Irandyk".

Organizers of the event were Bashkir cultural centre named after A.-Z.Validi of Uzbekistan Republic and the Executive Committee of the Kurultay of Bashkirs in Uzbekistan.
