Legends of Bashkir jazz will perform in Ufa - Oleg Kireev and his ethno-jazz ensemble "Orlan"

UFA, 19 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The legendary ethno-jazz ensemble "Orlan" recorded a new album named "Bashkir Caravan". On December 12, its presentation will be held at the Great Hall of the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society.

The leader of the ensemble is a famous jazzman, People's Artist of Bashkortostan Oleg Kireev (saxophone, vocals). Popular musicians play in the ensemble: Rustem Galiullin (trumpet), Rustam Karimov (drums), Oleg Yangurov (bass guitar), Eugene Grechishchev (keyboards).

Full-featured work of the ensemble was largely made possible due to the million grant of the President of Bashkortostan. In 2014 the "Orlan" ensemble performed at international jazz festivals in Moscow, Arkhangelsk, presented its program at the prestigious New York stage - in the Concert Hall of Symphony Space.

The concert starts at 19.00.
