UFA, 7 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. From November 18 to 23, Ufa cinema "Rodina" will host the International festival "Week of French Cinema".
This year's program will be particularly interesting and varied. Viewers will be able to evaluate the best examples of contemporary French cinema, combined in two cycles. Among these there are feature films: the traditional French comedy "Goodbye Bertha," drama "Villa Amalia", historical films "Lines of Wellington" and "Ordinary Penalty." The animation part of the festival includes the comedy "The Rabbi's Cat" and the drama "The skin of honey colour".
All films will be screened in the French language with Russian subtitles.
The official opening ceremony of the festival will start on November 18 at 19.00 in the cinema "Rodina" located at 42, Lenin Street. The Week will start with romantic comedy "Goodbye Bertha, or Grandmother's Funeral."
The organizer of the festival is the centre "Alliance Francaise - Kazan". The general sponsor is JSC "Rosbank".
