Vladislav Murtazin will open an Organ Festival in Ufa
UFA, 27 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency/. From November 2 to 15, Bashkir State Philharmonic Society will host the VII International Organ Festival.
The traditional festival will be opened with a concert of the people’s artist of Bashkortostan Vladislav Murtazin "The Universe of Bach". The known organ soloist of the National Symphony Orchestra RB, the winner of international competitions, cellist Ayaz Nukhov will also take part in the concert.
The feature of this concert is that it will be conducted not in the Organ Hall but in the Column Hall of the Philharmonic Society. Especially for this an Hauptwerk portable organ will be installed there which will fill this hall with unique sounds of ancient Dutch organ of the XVIII century.
“This is the only hall in Ufa with temple acoustics. And the music that we play is the music of meditation and reflection”, Vladislav Murtazin says.
The "Universe of Bach" is dedicated to the works of the great German composer and organist Johann Sebastian Bach. The first concert will be held on November 2 at 18.00.
The next concert of the festival is scheduled for November 6. The winner of the international competitions Nicholas Berndt (Germany) will play for Ufa audience.
