Young artists of Bashkortostan participate in interregional project
UFA, 21 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Young artists of Bashkortostan participate in interregional exhibition project dedicated to the 170th anniversary of Ilya Repin held these days in Samara.
The exhibition features works by 20 young artists from Bashkortostan, including members of the Russian Union of Artists and students of Ufa Art Academy, Ufa College of Art, and art-graphic department of the Bashkir Pedagogical University.
“Exhibition of young artists focuses on preserving th traditions of realistic school of painting - disclosure of local history in genre compositions, in beauty of native landscapes, images of contemporaries in the portrait genre. Also, the project is aimed at solving the task of representing works by young artists both in a wide exhibition space, and in the field of art criticism”, the Union of Artists of Bashkortostan informs.
The project organizers are Samara Branch of the Russian Union of Artists and Samara historical museum named after V.P. Alabin.
