Rustem Khamitov congratulated Vladimir Spivakov with the rank of "People's Artist of Bashkortostan Republic"

On October 14, in Ufa a meeting of the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the art director of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, the State Chamber Orchestra "Moscow Virtuosi", the President of Moscow International House of Music Vladimir Spivakov took place. As the press service of the head of the republic informs, during the meeting Rustem Khamitov handed over the maestro an award pin to the honourary title "People's Artist of Bashkortostan Republic".

“I am very grateful to the republic for this award, it’s a great gift for my birthday,” Vladimir Spivakov said.

Rustem Khamitov signed a decree conferring the musician the honourary title of "People's Artist of Bashkortostan" for many years of his creative activity and a great contribution to the development of musical art, on the day of the 70th anniversary of Vladimir Spivakov on September 12. The outstanding conductor was born in Chernikovsk of Bashkir ASSR (now the city became part of Ufa) in 1944.

Previously, the People's Artist of Russia and Bashkortostan visited the city of Salavat, where he took part in the opening ceremony of the Vladimir Spivakov’s Music School for Gifted Children.
