Film by Bulat Yusupov "Visit" won the Grand Prix at the Russian Film Festival

UFA, 15 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Volgodonsk the II Regional Festival of Short Films "My Land" finished. The "Visit" filmed by Bulat Yusupov at "Bashkortostan" Film Studio won the Grand Prix of the Festival and was named "The Best Feature Film".

As reported by Ufa film company "Zhivaya Lenta", more than 30 works by both professional filmmakers and amateur writers competed in various genres and categories. The festival was supported by the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, and a welcome address by Nikita Mikhalkov was read at the awards ceremony.

The jury was headed by the chairman of the Rostov branch of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia Yuriy Shcherbakov. The jury also included a member of the Academy of Cinema Arts "Nika" Michael Kolomensky and film critic, TV presenter of "Don-TR" broadcasting company Elena Christo.

Recall that the story of the "Visit" film is associated with an episode from life of the outstanding dancer of the twentieth century, Rudolf Nureyev. The project is a holder of the Presidential grant RB.
