"Moscow Virtuosi" will play at the opening of Salavat school for gifted children

UFA, 8 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. On October 14, an opening ceremony of music school for gifted children will take place in Salavat.

In 2014 Salavat Music College was awarded a presidential grant of 10 million rubles for the establishment of a school for young talents in one of the major cities of the republic.

In order to teach children music at modern, comfortable facilities, the project sponsor "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat" jointly with the "Chuzhikh Detei ne Byvaet" charitable foundation conducted a renovation of the educational building of the school and overhaul repairs of the facade of Salavat Music College. The sponsors donated the «Steinway» concert grand piano to the educational institution. The college purchased new musical instruments for the school for the grant funds.

As the republican Ministry of Culture reports, the school will operate under the auspices of the famous conductor, the leader of Vladimir Spivakov Charitable Foundation. The maestro will take part in the upcoming ceremony. At the end of the official opening a concert of the famous orchestra "Moscow Virtuosi" will take place at the Palace of Culture "Neftekhimik".
