Ufa Russian Theatre presents the "Fathers and Sons" play with Rammstein music

UFA, 26 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Today and tomorrow, September 26 and 27, Ufa State Academic Russian Drama Theatre opens the 153rd season with the premiere of "Fathers and Sons".

The genre is defined as a modern theatrical fantasy based on the novel by Turgenev. The stage director and author is Peter Shereshevsky (St. Petersburg,) known for its productions of Russian classics - Pushkin, Gorky, Chekhov, Dostoevsky in different theatres of Russia. He interprets the classic story in a modern way. "Black Square" by Malevich, Rammstein, Albinoni and popular songs are organically woven into the fabric of the play.

The staging involves 11 leading young actors of the troupe: Ruslan Belsky (Yevgeny Bazarov), Artem Agliulin (Arkady Kirsanov), Anna Burmistrova (Odintsov), Vladimir Latypov-Dogadov (Nikolay), Alexander Federyaev (Pavel Petrovich), Vladimir Abrosimov (Vasily Ivanovich), Svetlana Akimova (Arina Ivanovna), Julia Tonenko (Fenichka). Production designer is Anvar Gumarov, costume designer - Elena Gromova, video designer - Alexander Malyshev.

Tickets for two premier performances of "Fathers and Sons" of September 26 and 27 are sold out, the next performances are scheduled for October 2 and 13.
