It is planned to close classical music marathon with an open air gala concert in Ufa

UFA, 17 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. On September 19, in Ufa it is planned to hold a final gala concert of the "Classical Music Marathon" in Salavat Yulaev Square.

Recall that on the eve of the new theatre and concert season a nine-day open air music marathon was conducted in the capital of the republic. Every night different orchestras played to Ufa townspeople - Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, the orchestras of the City Cultural Centre and the Interior Ministry. The Marathon was completed with the orchestra and chorus of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The aim of the project was to revive and popularize classical music, acquaint children, adolescents and young people with our cultural heritage.

Organizers of the project are the Ministry of Culture of Bashkortostan, the producer centre "JAN", SUE TV and radio company "Bashkortostan" with the support of Ufa city administration.
