Creative youth of Ufa performs on a new open air stage

UFA, 12 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. A jazz concert of students of Ufa Academy of Arts and autumn jam was held on a new open air stage.

The holders of the Grand Prix of young performers’ competition - the group «Happy People» played for Ufa jazz music fans. Young musicians presented a program of original compositions in the jazz-rock style. Vocalists Sayavush Shermatov, Polina Kobets, saxophonist Azat Gaifullin soloed.

The group «Jazzeel Band», «7 Souls», «KayfullinCompany», «Jazzmania» also took part in the concert. Jazz stars of Ufa Irina Austin and Jalil Muhametshin came to support young musicians.

The new stage area was built at the expense of the presidential grant and installed in the park of Ufa Academy of Arts. The audience seats on the benches and on the grass around the scene under the foliage of birch trees.

The opening of the new scene and the first concert was held on September 1. Here youth concerts, exhibitions, theatre performances, flash mobs will take place. The next concert of chamber music in the open air, if the weather permits, will take place on September 16.
