Photo artists of the SCO and BRICS countries will go on tour across Bashkiria

From June 10 to 17, Bashkortostan will host an international event "Nature. Human being. Culture-2014" with participation of photographers from SCO and BRICS countries. This year participants from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Iran, Italy, Brazil, Crimea and Bashkortostan, Moscow and Chelyabinsk are announced. Total 20 photographers are expected.

The international event is aimed at popularizing the Russian and Bashkir photography, study and promotion of folk art, traditions, ceremonies, intangible cultural heritage, promotion of organized tourism and eco-tourism, promotion of national parks, nature reserves, natural and historical monuments, culture life of the peoples of Bashkortostan, popularization of the brands "Bashkir honey", "Bashkir kumiss", "Bashkir horse", "Folk Craft".

This year several actions will be held in Ufa as part of the international event. On June 10, a memorial exhibition for the 60th anniversary of Raphael Islamov "Master and disciples" will be held at the National Museum RB. On June 10 and 12 shooting on the topic "Ufa - a City for Life" will be organized. On June 11, at the gallery «Academia» of Ufa State University of Economics and Service and the Centre for Contemporary Art "Clouds" the International Photo Festival "We are your children, the planet Earth" will be opened.

From June 13 to 16, the first group of photographers will leave for Belokataysky and Salavatsky regions, and the second group for Kiginsky and Duvansky regions.
