Day of Slavic Writing and Culture will be celebrated with a festive concert in Ufa

On May 24, as part of the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture celebrations a concert will begin at 12.00 Moscow time simultaneously in Moscow and the capitals of the Russian Federation subjects.

The Day of Slavic Writing and Culture is the single in Russia church- state holiday. In 2014, the 1151th anniversary of Slavic Literature is marked.

“In Ufa a holiday concert will be held in Lenin Square. Folk groups, church choirs, dance studios and vocal ensembles of the republic will take part in it,” the national House of Friendship reports.

Famous and loved songs of the Soviet years, folk performances and animation program are prepared for residents and visitors of Ufa.

The concert starts at 14.00.
