Famous European director will teach to shoot films with no budget

From June 1 to 3, the famous Dutch director Jos Stelling will visit Ufa for the first time.

Jos Stelling was a participant of Cannes Film Festival (1975), winner of festivals in Cork and Asala (1977), winner of the Venice Film Festival (1983). His films were included in the hundred best films of the century. His arrival in the framework of the Year of Culture is initiated by the Kinomak studio with support of the Academy of Sciences RB and the Union of Cinematographers of Bashkortostan.

On June 1, at 15.00 the director will give an exclusive master - class "How to make a movie with no budget" for all comers.

On June 2 "The Girl and Death" film featuring Sergei Makovetskiy, Renata Litvinova, Leonid Bichevin, Svetlana Svetlichnaya, Sylvia Hooks will be shown in the Rodina cinema at 19.00. After the film a discussion with the director will be conducted.

"The Girl and Death" film is the second director's work with Russian actors in the lead roles. The film was the winner of the festival "The Golden Calf" in the category "Best Film" and "Best Cinematography".
