Bashkir artist’s works are exhibited in New York City

A branch of the French gallery of Max Laniado opened in the heart of New York, in Manhattan. Among 30 paintings by famous world artists, there are three by Ufa painter Rasikh Ahmetvaliev.

Two paintings from the series "Riders" - "Sunny" and "Blue" and also "Pink Flower" are displayed at the exhibition in the new gallery in the United States.

“Of nine French artists whose works are on display, five artists managed to come at the opening, some of them are masters of American, Austrian, Chinese origin”, Rasikh Akhmetvaliev said.

The exhibition was also attended by collectors and art lovers.

Rasikh Akhmetvaliev is the Honoured Artist of Bashkortostan, a member of the Union of Artists. His works were displayed at republican, interregional, national and international exhibitions. He is a member of the creative team "Inzer", artistic association "Genghis Khan". He is the winner of the first international prize of independent cultural fund "Turan" (Kazan). Since 2002 he lives and works in France. His works are in collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Nesterov’s Bashkir State Art Museum (Ufa), Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of National Culture of "Kazan" Cultural Centre, Novosibirsk State Art Museum, galleries and private collections in Russia and abroad.
