Ufa jazz club offers an alternative May Holidays

Ufa jazz club offers the townspeople who did not leave the city to celebrate May Holidays in a company of Ufa jazz bands.

On May 1, the "Chicago - Paris" quintet will be the highlight of the evening. Vladimir Prokofiev (drums), Igor Makarov (guitar), Irina Malysheva (vocals), Michael Tsimbalenko (bass guitar, contrabass) and Oleg Melnikov (accordion) will present the guests of the club a festive musical program. "Chicago - Paris" – is a permanent participant of concert programs, its repertoire consists of popular tunes of France, Germany, Latin America, jazz, country.

On May 2, Ufa jazz club offers performance of "Ufa" jazz quartet.

On May 3 will be a concert of Jazz Fiesta.

May performances of Ufa jazzmen continue a series of concerts close to the remarkable date - the International Day of Jazz celebrated worldwide on April 30. The purpose of the festival declared by UNESCO in 2011 is to increase international awareness of the pedagogical role of jazz as a force to promote peace, unity, dialogue and expansion of contacts between people.
