Photographers will be able to confess their love for Ufa

Ufa residents are invited to participate in an open city photo contest "My Favourite City" dedicated to the Year of Culture and the 440th anniversary of the founding of the fortress of Ufa.

Organizers of the contest are the directorate of culture and art of the city administration and the Ufa studio of art photography "Visual".

As "Visual" studio reports, the main objectives of the competition is to attract public attention to the importance of the role of culture in strengthening the stability of our society and state, to develop and maintain interest in the cultural values of our region and country. The contest is aimed at identifying and supporting talented photographers - professionals and amateurs over 16 years old.

Works will be accepted in the following categories:

- "Grand Ufa" (the best views – presentation of the city);

- "Picturesque Ufa" (the most beautiful sites of the city);

- "Historical Ufa" (historical monuments).

- "Lights of Ufa" (Night city).

- "Ufishki" ( bright and unusual moments of urban life).

Pictures provided with interesting comments will be of priority.

The photo works should be submitted before October 31, 2014.
