"Colour of Youth" graffiti contest is held in Ufa

Urban graffiti contest "Colour of Youth" began in Ufa. It is organized by the Committee on Youth Policy of the capital, the urban centre for psychological, medical and social support "Indigo" and creative association "BashArt".

The theme of the contest is the cultural heritage of Bashkortostan. While creating works participants should use images of national heroes, architectural and cultural monuments, epics, legends, mythical characters, the press service of the Committee informs. Young people aged from 14 to 30 years can participate in the contest. Individual and team participation is also possible.

The competition will be held in three stages. Until April 21 applications and sketches should be submitted, the second stage will determine six winners by the end of the month, and in the third stage in May works of participants will be displayed on wooden boards as "honeycombs".

The purpose of the graffiti contest is development and support of young people creative potential, formation of active socio- cultural position.
