Touring exhibition of Italian artists opens in Birsk

On April 9, the exhibition hall of Birsk branch of Bashkir State University will host the touring exhibition "A View from Italy. Contemporary Artistic Expression ", which became the second stage of open dialogue between masters of art of the Italian district of Piedmont and Bashkortostan Republic. The Association of Culture, Gastronomy and Tourism Promotion is an organizer of the Italian part. This is a response exhibition to the touring exposition by Bashkir artists "View from Russia" held in several cities in Italy in 2013.

The Bashkir masters’ works attracted great interest of experts in the field of art and the audience. The project curator Silvana Nota marked that such exhibitions were true ambassadors of culture.

The Birsk exposition will show works of masters from Moncalieri city - the centre of the Piedmont region. Here you will see figurative painting, experiments with textile materials, mixed techniques, art photography and installations.

Ufa townspeople and guests have already seen the Italian touring exhibition. Now people from other cities of the republic will learn about the art of Italy.
