Ufa Planetarium will show a "Journey to a Billion of Suns"

Ufa Planetarium is ready to show the world premiere of "Journey to a Billion Suns".

As the planetarium informs, a new full-dome show is created in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) and planetariums around the world. This program explains the technology making star maps; it will take us on a fascinating journey through the many objects of the Milky Way. Breathtaking adventure is devoted to the launch of the ESA «Gaia» satellite telescope on December 19, 2013. Foreign public and the media praised the show as "an unusually spectacular", " even better than movies ."

A premiere of "Journey to a Billion Suns" takes place in 30 planetariums around the world in January-March 2014. Ufa Planetarium is the Russia's first planetarium showing the program and the only one participated in the preparation of the Russian version. The premiere in Ufa demanded installation of completely new equipment to demonstrate specially designed for planetariums spherical movies of high quality over the entire surface of the dome.

A pre-premiere screening of the "Journey to a Billion Suns" for media representatives will be held in Ufa planetarium on March 11 at 15.00.
