Laser copies of paintings by Aivazovsky are exhibited in Ufa

In the capital of the republic an exhibition of paintings by Ivan Aivazovsky "Genius of Sea Depths" is held. The paintings are displayed by the Republican Public Organization "Revival and Preservation of Cultural Heritage." Laser copies of paintings are highly accurate reproduction of the original ones. Total six exhibitions of laser copies of famous art paintings operate in Ufa, the chairman of the organization Valentina Afanasyeva said. Aivazovsky paintings are presented in the foyer of the library No. 31 in Ordzhonikidzevsky district of Ufa. Art lovers and library visitors can see about 20 works. Among them there are masterpieces - "The Ninth Wave", "Calm Sea", "View of Tiflis", "Zhigulevskie Mountains", "The Sea". The exhibition of paintings by the marine painter will be open till March 8.

Ivan Aivazovsky is one of the most famous artists depicting marine views. The artist painted about 6000 paintings with the marine theme.
