Song by Ufa musician entered the official album of the Olympic Games in Sochi

The song by Ufa musician and vocalist of "Nikola Stasiuk" band Stanislav Nikonenko entered the official album of the Olympic Games in Sochi.

The song was written in 2010, a year later the band took part with this composition in the contest of Autoradio "Hits of the Olympic Games". Of 500 candidates only 10 teams appeared in the finals. Among them Ufa "Nikola Stasiuk" band was also. After that, the song was recorded in Moscow with Korni group. All songs included in the album will be performed at the Olympic venues.

“It was a pleasant surprise for us that our song hit the official album of the Olympic Games” Stanislav Nikonenko said. “It is even more pleasant that the composition passed the national selection - more than 38 percent of the audience voted for it.”
