Main music scene of Ufa opens this autumn

Reconstruction works are continuing at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre. The working conference chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Salavat Sagitov was devoted to this issue.

As it was noted at the meeting, works on reconstruction of the theatre are in full swing. Engineering systems - electrical, plumping and air conditioning systems are almost completely replaced. The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the main task was to successfully complete works on significant renovation of the theatre scene, especially in terms of quality. From the engineering standpoint, this is an exceptionally complex object. To improve the acoustics of the hall it was decided to refuse from the carpeting on the dress circle and above it. But the famous chandelier, which for many years has been decorating the Bashkir Opera, will remain in its place.

It is supposed to complete the reconstruction this autumn, by October, to the beginning of the theatre season. It is planned that a great concert will begin a "new life" of Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre, which will show new technical possibilities of the stage, and most importantly - give again the joy of meeting with soloists of opera and ballet.
