Gaskarov Folk Dance Ensemble will give performances at Olympic Games in Sochi

The Faizi Gaskarov’s State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble prepares for a trip to Sochi, which will host XXII Winter Olympic Games from February 7 to 23. Gaskarov dancers will represent the art of Bashkortostan within the cultural program from February 11 to 15. It is expected that about 100 leading creative teams of Russia will gather in Sochi for participation in it.

As the press-secretary of the Ministry of Culture RB Leila Ishmuratova informs, the renowned ensemble will make a 45-minute program at four main platforms of the Olympics. Artists will perform Bashkir dances included in the golden fund of the ensemble. It is worth noting that all costumes for this program were renewed.
