Another commemorative plaque to Rudolf Nureyev appeared in Ufa,

On December 1, unveiling of a commemorative plaque to Rudolf Nureyev took place in Ufa. The opening was timed to the I All-Russian festival of dance colleges and schools dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Rudolf Nureyev, the press service of the Ministry of Culture RB informs.

The plaque to the outstanding dancer with his bas-relief is installed on the building of the Rudolf Nureyev Bashkir Ballet School.

Earlier at this address - 38, Sverdlov Street the high school No.2 building was located, where the future genius of dance studied. The bas-relief of the plaque is made by Ufa sculptor Rustem Khasanov.

In Ufa there is already a plaque to Rudolf Nureyev on the wall of Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre where the dancer took his first steps on the ballet stage.
