Festival of choreographic schools devoted to the memory of Rudolf Nureyev to be held in Ufa

On December 1-3, the I All-Russia festival of ballet schools dedicated to Rudolf Nureyev will be held in Ufa. According to the Ministry of Culture RB, the applications were submitted by all educational institutions in the country that train professional dancers. These include Moscow and St Petersburg Academy, Novosibirsk, Perm, Krasnoyarsk colleges, Kazan and Krasnodar schools.

The schedule of the festival includes: a gala concert, a round table discussion on the Nureyev’s creative heritage, and workshops that will be conducted by eminent teachers. As a result, the brightest young performers will be awarded two prizes "The Rising Star".
