Ufa townspeople will see the best concerts of famous rock groups

Ufa townspeople will be able to see the best rock concerts of the past and present: from November 20 to December 18 the "Rodina" cinema will show films of the project "Legends of Rock on the Big Screen". The program includes a live recording of «Doors» in the stadium «Hollywood Bowl» in 1968; the film about the American tour of «Wings» in 1976, created by Paul McCartney, «Queen» performance in Budapest in 1986, the film «Rock For The Rising Sun» comprising the best pieces of «Aerosmith» concerts, and the July 2013 concert by «Muse» group. Records are recovered in digital format.

As the deputy director of Rodina cinema Rida Utyasheva informs, copies are purchased from the Russian distributor "NevaFilm Emotion". In addition, they are negotiating with the same company in St. Petersburg on organization of live performances of theaters in Europe and the U.S. via satellite.

Along with the rock program Rodina will start the next program of classics. From November 19 to December 31 the performances staged by London Covent Garden, Paris Grand Opera, Sydney Opera House and the Mariinsky Theatre will be shown. This is the ballet "Don Quixote", "La Sylphide", "Nutcracker", the opera "The Tales of Hoffmann", "Turandot", "Masquerade" and "Sicilian Vespers".
