Mustay Karim monument will be opened in Ufa on the threshold of the Day of Republic

On Thursday, October 10, a monument to the national poet of Bashkortostan, writer and playwright Mustay Karim will be opened in the centre of Ufa.

As Bashinform News Agency informed earlier, the monument was executed by the known Moscow sculptor Andrey Kovalchuk. The monument is established in front of the House of Trade Unions RB.

It is expected that famous Bashkir writers, art workers, visitors from the neighbouring republics — national poets of Tatarstan Renat Harisov and Robert Minnullin, the national poet of Chuvashiya Valery Turgay, and also the author of the monument — the national artist of the Russian Federation Andrey Kovalchuk will take part in the unveiling ceremony.

The ceremony will take place at 12 o'clock, local time.
