Manhattan Short Film Festival begins in Ufa

From September 26, till October 6, competitive displays of the largest in the world of review of short films – Manhattan Short Film Festival (New York, the USA) will take place at the "Rodina" cinema, the press-service of the Ministry of Culture RB informs.

Hundred thousand people from 300 cities will gather for one purpose — to vote for the best film from ten finalists of the festival. In Russia the International Festival will unite film fans from more than 30 cities.

This year it will be chosen not only the best film, but also the best featured actor for the first time of the 16 years of the festival history.

Films from Australia, France, Finland, the USA, Ireland and England participate in the program of 2013. Each spectator can vote for the film and the actor liked.

Spectator votes from all over the world are sent to headquarters of Manhattan Short Film Festival in New York, where at the final review to be held on October 6, this year names of winners will be announced.
