«Cold Heart» performance is presented by Bashkir Puppet Theatre at "Shombay-Fest" in Kazan

The Bashkir State Puppet Theatre gives a performance at the First International Festival of Puppet Theatres "Shombay-Fest" in Kazan. Actors from Bashkortostan have presented to the audience the «Cold Heart» performance by Wilhelm Hauff's fairy tale.

16 theatres take part in the festival from France, Turkey, Republics Tajikistan, Republic of Ingushetia, Brest, Kostroma, Vologda, Ryazan, Belgorod, Bashkiria, the press-service of the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan informs.

Total 20 performances will take place, thus the program includes not only performances for children, but also for adults.

The jury defines winners in the following nominations: «The Best Performance»; «The Best Director»; «The Best Actor»; «The Best Actor of Supporting Role»; «The Best Artist»; «The Best Soundtrack to Performance»; «The Festival’s Novation».

The children's jury consisting of pupils from comprehensive schools of Kazan works also as part of the festival. Members of the children's jury will independently define the winner of the nomination «People's Choice Award».

Winners will be named at the solemn closing of the festival which will be held on September 28.
