Comic writer Leonid Sokolov became the honoured art worker of Bashkortostan

The known comic writer, member of the Union of Writers RB Leonid Sokolov is appropriated a title "Honoured art worker of Bashkortostan Republic" by the Decree of the President RB Rustem Khamitov. Leonid Sokolov is granted this award, as it is said in the document «for high creative achievements in the field of culture, arts and literature».

Leonid Sokolov is an author of several books, such as "Tricks", "Where you were yesterday", "Lucky beggar", "One thousand and one trick" recognised among readers. He was published in different literature magazines and newspapers of St.-Petersburg, Odessa, Kazan, Moscow, and in republican editions. And recently, in August this year, Leonid Sokolov's new book "Autograph" was published.in “Kitap” publishing house.

In July this year the writer celebrated his 60-year-old anniversary. More than ten years, since 2002, he worked in Bashinform News Agency. Now Leonid Sokolov is a senior literary adviser of the Union of Writers RB.
