Bashkir cinematographers will present their films at international festivals

The "Bashkortostan" film studio will present three films at the IX International Festival of Muslim Cinema in Kazan which will be held from September 5 till September 11. The competitive program will include a documentary-fiction film by young director Ainur Askarov «Bitter Honey» and an animation film by the known director-animator Rim Sharafutdinov «Aldar and the Grey Wolf». The non-competitive program will include — a fiction short-length film by young director Tansulpan Burakaeva «I will marry!».

From September 10 till September 13, the V International Sports Movie and TV Festival will be held in Samara, where the documentary film «Born Twice» about Irek Zaripov, the Paralympic champion, our eminent fellow countryman participates. The film will be represented at the festival by its author — director Vilyura Isyandavletova.

The animation film «Aldar and the Grey Wolf» will take part in three prestigious international festivals in Europe. It is the World Festival of Animated Film in Varna, which will take place from September 11 till September 15, the Greece Naoussa International Film Festival and the International festival of short-length fiction and animation films ROZAFA AnimFest (Albania), which will be held in the city of Shkoder from September 23 till September 28.
