The chorus of th Ufa Academy of Arts has received an award of the international competition
IX International Competition «Singing World» by the name of Yuriy Falik has come to the end in St.-Petersburg. The chorus of Ufa State Academy of Arts under the guidance of Alsu Hasbullina took the second places in the nominations «Chamber choruses» and «Folk music», the press-service of the Ministry of Culture RB informs.
About 20 choruses participated in the competition from Finland Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Estonia, China, Japan and Russia.
The solemn opening took place in Saint Peter and Paul's Cathedral on August 2. Choruses gave performances at central concert platforms of St.-Petersburg and suburbs. A closing ceremony of the choral music festival and a gala concert were held in the State Academic Chapel of St.-Petersburg on August 7.
