Bashkiria delegation has presented national culture at Moscow Sabantuy

Representatives of Bashkortostan have taken part in the Moscow Sabantuy. Liliya Gumerova, the Deputy Prime-Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Republic headed the delegation. The holiday took place in the "Kolomna" public museum preserve at support of the Government of Moscow.

Made-up Bashkir and Tatar villages, national dishes, performances of masters of the arts from Moscow, Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, a competition in kuresh national wrestling and a horse show were organized for visitors. A separate entertaining program with competitions and games was provided for children.

The cultural program of Bashkortostan was presented by F.Gaskarov State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble, creative teams from Sterlitamak and Abzelilovsky region. Yurtas with rich national decoration were developed open-air to acquaint Muscovites with culture and life of Bashkir people. As a whole the republic delegation was one of the most numerous, bright and original.
