Bashkir collections are awarded diplomas at haute couture competition in Yakutsk

The Bashkir collections are awarded diplomas at the first Euroasian competition of haute couture ethnic clothes "Etno-Erato", the Ministry of Culture RB informs.

As the press-secretary of department Leila Ishmuratova specified, the «New Tradition» collection by Bashkir "Exclusive" integrated works, the author —Albina Ilyasova was awarded the third place in the nomination «Ethnic motives in modern clothing».

In one more nomination «Slavic costume» Bashkir "Exclusive" integrated works won the fourth place with the «Russian souvenir» collection headed by Elena Lukmanova.

As Bashinform News Agency already reported, the competition was spent in Yakutsk. A gala concert and rewarding ceremony took place at the A.E.Kulakovsky’s House of People’s Friendship.

Participants were congratulated by the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky. He expressed his confidence that the competition would become an unforgettable event for all those who cared of preservation and development of original traditions.
