Konstantin Khabensky Studios Festival «Operenie-2013» has begun in Ufa

The festival of children's creative development studios «Operenie-2013» organised by Konstantin Khabensky’s Charitable Foundation with the help of local patrons of art opens in Ufa. Pupils of 13 studios from eight Russian cities take part in the festival — about 500 children and their teachers. As Konstantin Khabensky said at the press conference, young actors had been given a task to prepare a ten-minute presentation «And we have …» which would become a "landmark" of their native city. Half-hour shows- reflections over the future performances are planned also. Improvisations on the set subject will be shown not only by children, but also by their teachers. Evening of poetry will take place for sure.

Konstantin Khabensky marked that the purpose of his studios was not preparation of future pupils of drama colleges, but development of creative persons. The training program is experimental in studios. But the teaching methodology should be available, and it is being worked out.

In 2011 such studio appeared in Ufa on the basis of school No.49. «We hope that our children, being engaged in studio, will become interesting, many-sided people», Konstantin Khabensky said.

The festival is held in «Zelenaya Roscha» sanatorium, the first performance is at 19.30, in a concert hall.
