The day of Georgy Sviridov memory will be celebrated in Ufa

The Sviridov evening devoted to the 15th anniversary from the date of death of the glorified composer Georgy Sviridov will be held in the Sergey Aksakov's Memorial House-Museum on January 18.

As the regional representative of the national Sviridov Fund on Bashkortostan Republic Anatoly Kryukov informs, this day the exhibition devoted to the composer will be opened in the museum. Besides, visitors of the evening can familiarise with the materials of regional studies testifying to the composer life in Birsk.

Organizers also informed that this day a concert of artists of the H.Ahmetov’s Bashkir State Philharmonic Society will take place and the film «Sviridov Evenings in Nikolsky Temple» by Venera Yumagulova will be shown in the museum. The entrance is free of charge.
