«Two Evenings with World Opera Stars» will be held in the Bashkir Opera Theatre

«Two Evenings with World Opera Stars» musical project will take place at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre on January 23 and 26, the official website of the theatre informs.

Together with the soloist of Bashkir opera Alfiya Karimova as Margarita, the national artist of Ukraine, the winner of the international competitions, the soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine and the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Taras Shtonda (Mefistofel) and the honoured artist of Kazakhstan, the soloist of Almaty Theatre Bolat Zhomartov (Valentine) will play in the "Faust" opera by Charles Gounod. The lead part is executed by the soloist of the Samara Theatre Dmitry Kryzhsky. The conductor is the national artist of Bashkortostan Farit Idrisov.

A gala concert featuring the winner of international competitions Medet Chotabaev (Almaty), the winner of the international competitions, the professor of Novosibirsk conservatory, pianist Michael Mishchenko, the honoured artist of Russia, the national artist of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, the winner of international competitions Idris Gaziev, and also soloists of Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre Katerina Leishe and Ilgiz Khakimov will take place on January 26. This evening a conductor from Italy Alessandro Bicci will be at the conductor's stand. Arias, ensembles, symphonic compositions from Verdi, Rossini, Donizetti, Delibes, Rakhmaninov, Puccini's operas and also popular classics and folk songs will be performed at the concert.
